Top and bottom fixing options provide installation flexibility, but this seat still needs to match your toilet’s shape, dimensions and fixing requirements.

Pan shape: compare the round seat outline with your ceramic pan.
Length and width: compare your measurements with the product drawing, using the same reference points. The stated seat size is 400mm wide by 420mm long.
Fixing-hole spacing: measure centre to centre and compare with the 59mm–170mm hinge adjustment range.
Fixing compatibility: check that the supplied fittings suit your pan and that the seat buffers will rest correctly on the ceramic rim.

Adjustable hinges do not guarantee a universal fit. If replacing a seat on an Ideal Standard Space toilet, check your exact pan model, profile and measurements before ordering.

Installation & Everyday Care

All fixtures and fittings are included. Select the appropriate fixing method and follow the supplied installation instructions. Align the seat before final tightening and avoid overtightening the fixings.

Clean according to the manufacturer’s guidance, using a soft cloth and a suitable mild cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads and dry after cleaning. Anti-bacterial material does not replace regular cleaning.

Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, please email clear photos of the damage along with your order number to info@toiletseatstore.co.uk within 72 hours of delivery.

Claims made after 72 hours cannot be accepted as transit damage.
Items that have been fitted or attempted to be fitted cannot be claimed as transit‑damaged.

Please do not arrange your own return unless you refused the delivery. We will handle the return process and provide instructions.

Incorrect or Missing Items

If you have received the wrong item or something is missing, please email info@toiletseatstore.co.uk within 48 hours with:

A clear photo of the item you received

A photo of the packaging label showing the product code

Do not arrange a return yourself—we will organise the correct process for you.

Returns Policy

For hygiene reasons, toilet seats are non‑returnable once the plastic hygiene seal has been removed.

You can inspect the seat for damage or discrepancies without breaking the seal by carefully opening the packaging and removing the seat while keeping the seal intact.

Something wrong with your delivery?

If an item arrives damaged, incorrect or incomplete, email info@toiletseatstore.co.uk with your order number. Photos of the item and packaging label help us resolve the issue quickly.

Please contact us as soon as possible and keep the packaging while we investigate. We ask that transit damage is reported within 72 hours, and incorrect or missing items within 48 hours, where possible. These reporting requests do not affect your statutory rights.

Changed your mind?

For an eligible online order, tell us within 14 days of receiving it if you wish to cancel. You then have a further 14 days to return it.

Please keep the hygiene seal intact.
Where a toilet seat is supplied sealed for hygiene protection, opening that seal after delivery may remove the right to return it simply because you have changed your mind. This does not affect your rights if the item is faulty, damaged or not as described.

You can inspect the packaging and seat while keeping the hygiene seal intact. Please check the seat's measurements and fixing positions before fitting.

How to return an item

Email us before sending a return. Include your name and order number inside the parcel, pack the item securely and use a tracked, insured courier for a change-of-mind return.
